Each product is supplied in the form of ready to extrude granules for your approved manufacturer, or if required we can produce the final product itself through our global network of Goody accredited manufacturers.

Supplied as ready to extrude granules. Mix ratio is between 1% to 10% Goody Additive to regular plastic. All plastic types can be mixed with Goody Additive (except PVC due to the dangerous hydrochloric acid it produces as it biodegrades). Strength of plastic is retained as is sealability, permeability and printability. Simple to adapt and economical. Standard manufacturing process is used, there is no need for specific manufacturing machinery. Plastic biodegrades via the following ways:
Trigger is set biodegradation can begin at a set time. Shelf-life of the plastic can be set from months to up to 2-3 years (even 5 years for some applications). Is 100% environmentally safe, contains no heavy metals and is non toxic Accredited Safe for Food Contact - FDA and European approved. (Last remaining element being tested) Independently tested and compliant with Australian standard AS 4736 – 2006 for biodegradable plastics suitable for composting and other microbial treatment. |

Supplied as ready to extrude granules. Mix ratio is between 70% to 75% Goody Blend which is added to regular plastic. Regular plastic is removed and replaced with plasticised starch (only 25% to 30% of regular plastic remains). More renewable resources and less non-renewable resources used. Simple to adapt and economical. Standard manufacturing process is used, there is no need for specific manufacturing machinery. Only a slight variation to temperature is required. Biodegradable. Is 100% environmentally safe, contains no heavy metals and is non toxic. |

Non-food based starch Our starch is sourced from non food based sources. Permeability - high oxygen transmission with film products. Retains printability.
